For hundreds of years before the Easter celebrations eggs were thought to be the perfect shape held special as the representation of rebirth of spring. The Ukrainian peoples began to use candles styulus, dyes and wax to fashion very elaborately decorated eggs unto today.
Fabrege the Russian artist in his company created eggs of silver, gold and precious jewel for the imperial Russian family in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s today worth many thousands of dollars.

May we suggest that you come early in the week as collectors will take the most unique decorations home to accent their collections.
Not to be missed are the artists who cast, paint and fire ceramic eggs. Others will decoupage real eggs with paper scenes that even the youngest child can admire in their Easter basket.

Our artists, though inspired by Fabrege, create jeweled natural eggs using rhinestones, extra patience to cut intricate shapes, designs and great imagination into jewel boxes, clocks, scenes, music boxes etc. Prices range from a few dollars to the hundreds.
